Adding images to your post is pretty straightforward. After you have entered the text, just go the the section under the text box and you'll see two tabs. One says 'Attachments'. Click on Attachments, and you'll see 'Add files'. Click on Add Files, and a window from your computer will pop up, so that you can choose an image from your computer.

PS: Don't forget that, if you are posting in 'Finds ID' with an ID request, you will need to add a scale in the images.

Great day out on Saturday. No hammered or Roman for me but did manage a few nice finds (one below) Was wandering by when Eddie, one of the Irish fellas Liam mentioned, found his first hammered, which I cleaned and ID’d for him. He was over the moon! Experiences like that are the real treasure! Thanks all!

Found a lead weight on the stubble..steelyard perhaps ? Could be Roman or medieval ? Measures 3 inches high. Only real find of the day, but thoroughly enjoyed it

Here's my Friday silvers. A pleasant day . Good to meet Liam too

Hi, was great getting to meet people and sharing finds, after a slow start to Friday and Saturday, today I found 3 hammered. 3 quarters of an Edward 1st Bristol mint penny, 2 James 1st London mint half groats and two roman brooch fragments, also this decorated Piece of lead, which I am unsure what it exactly is. I also had several buttons, one of which is quite big and resembles a flower, maybe post medieval? Thank you very much for the detecting weekend! Throughly enjoyed it. Detail doesn’t really show in the Photos of the hammered.

That hammy you posted must have come just after? Nice one. Equalised with your mate’s Commonwealth penny. That was a belter! But yours must be amongst the few found without a hole!

Yes, it was straight away, I walked back put my headphones on swung the coil and BANG a nice 71/72, had plenty of lead and a few shotties in this range but you have to dig them all in those numbers and tones, that was it a lovely Henry V penny, we walked straight back over to the Irish lads and showed them what just happened.

Great day out, met some really nice people whose names I have forgotten already
The M.D.F. gazebo looked the part, can't remember the chaps name who sorted it but thanks again.
I had lots of n/f finds mainly tiny pieces of lead at various depths, as I'm still learning the nuances of the Deus2 it was reassuring knowing it was doing it's thing.
Other finds a chicken on a stick (Georgian pipe tamper)
a bronze possible ear ring.
