That is a real beauty Ruth well done and congratulations.
We really should have a thread dedicated to showing off such finds over the year and then maybe a vote on who landed the best catch by years end.
It's not what you don't know that is the problem. It's what you think you know, that just isn't so.

What a beautiful find to make Ruth, each one found bearing a unique tale which remains a mystery to anyone but two people, that I think, makes each one such a very special find.
Very pleased for you Ruth, it deserves pride of place in your finds collection. [81/]

Sounds like a beautiful and memorable morning. And that’s a special find! It looks like it fell into the ground and has never been disturbed. Well done! :);/

So true Pedrosky. There are a few light scratches and small nicks but considering that field has been ploughed, planted, harvested every year for many years it’s in amazing condition 👍

Congratulations Ruth! I had a similar find a couple of weeks ago which is now with the FLO - hopefully both of us will hear something back from the Treasure folks before we get too old! Keep us posted [08/]

Phil [81/]

edit: Sorry Ruth - I hadn't read your earlier post regarding my ring! They are both a similar size - very small and coincidentally possibly from the same time period [81/] We'll see in due course [08/]
