Small silver hammy ID

Post by Beepbeeeeep »

Hi all,
Would appreciate an ID and age on this hammy found today surprisingly close to the surface at around 2 inches down. Hopefully there's enough detail left on it.
Found in a sheep field in north wales using my nox 600 on field 1.

Thanks for taking a look

I've rotated the head side the correct way

I think it could possibly be an Edward ii penny. I noticed the head side is upside down.
Hopefully the knowledgeable Mr A will confirm
