ACE 250 / EUROACE SEF 15X12 TEST

Hi all
I received my new DETECH S.E.F 15 x 12 coil today :D to go on my euroace and decided to air test it on both machines with the following results ( hope everyone understands the way its been done):-

Not that much different on the euroace but a considerable improvement on the ace 250 guess the wife will keep it on her machine :(

Thanks very much.

You have made choosing my first detector much easier is was trying to choose between a Ace 250 and a EuroAce. Seems like the Euroace is quite a bit deeper and the Ace 250 with a SEF coil isnt much better but quite a lot more expensive from mdetectors.com.

I think I will get the Euroace judging from your results, plus they are on sale at the moment.

Been out today omg the ace250 with the sef coil on is like metal detecting with a broom shaft with a breeze block on the end managed 2 hours, great depth (similar to the euroace) but way to tiring (now got to buy the wife a euro she tried mine and loved it )

So out of the two you would prefer to use the Euro I imagine?

Just curious cos i have just ordered one based on your depth tests comparison and price really.

yes dofo prefer the Euro (my personal opinion) :)

personally i thought the pinpointing was not as good as the ace dd coil and yes they are heavy got rid straight away and bought the wife the euroace :)
