Its the fisher arm rest, couldn't screw it on, put elastic bands on to hold it in place, then taped it.

Ok, i know, it's going to fall to bits after a while, but I been up and down my kitchen a few times and if feels good.

Me missus came out and said I'm bleddy mento =)).

8-} improvise Janner until you get a replacement...did you buy it fro a dealership? if so then you could ring them like fishermansam suggests? That looks like a decent repair until you get yourself sorted.

Your wife needs some exposure to the fields Janner, she might then say you both need Etracs :D and keep the garrett as back up ::g

Agent ::g , its all in hand, i have to send the broken one back to them and they going to send me a replacement. I emailed them earlier.

I've been doing my best to get the missus into the hobby, but her won't budge.
I'm already thinking of up grading, and use the Ace as a back-up. What i need is a good beach machine that also do's well on land. Got me eye on a Minelab Sov GT, seen what that beauty can do.

Personally, I can't fault Regton and believe that they are pretty much on the ball when dealing with their customers. I found their services to be quick and most helpful; Nigel looked after me when I had a problem with my faulty Euro Ace.

Yup Christoph, Regtons were right on the ball with my problem, Nigel had emailed me back within 10 minutes of me emailing them. i feel confident my new part will arrive in a day or two.

By the way, my little bit of handy work did hold up on the farm, tho it did tend to work a bit loose after a couple of hours, but did the job.
