All my beach detecting is done with the minelab explorer ll
So looking for advice wanting a deep searching coil
Can anyone on here give me some good advice to which coil

you have a choice of coils m8 you have the sef 15x12 or the detech 13 ultimate coil .i know these work well on the land plough pasture etc not sure on the beach but i cannot see why not

Hi thanks for the info looked into the 13" ultimate seem to be some good reports on this coil.
The 13" Ultimate would be a very good option as it will give you the exrea depth but without increasing the weight of the detector by a great amount,another option you could look at is 4Pi from C-Scope which albeit is a little bit more expense but that then would give you a lighter machine for the beach but also much greater depth over what the Explorer and bigger coil would give you.
It of course depends on how much beach work you do,if its alot and you live near the sea i would think the C-Scope option is best as that is a fantastic machine for the price.
