Few bits from beach

Post by craghopper »

Had a couple of hours on N wales beaches ,Llandudno /Rhos/Colwyn Bay .The new sanded area at Colwyn bay was full of rubbish already, found the metal warrior and pidgeon ring there as well as an old hypodermic that I took off the sand to dispose of.The beach seems to attract some undesirables in the evening don't think I'll bother going again so late unless I'm with my brother in law .

Wise self advice mate, Parks attract much the same really, my Mrs wouldnt go out late to places like that if i wasnt with her, of course shes safe with me, you get the odd "member" (aptly worded) of some gang come out with some dumb comment at times but its usually the drink talking and said after theyve gone by, other than that the positive side is when parents come over with their kids for a chat and we show them finds and let the kids watch a dig, i gave a little girl a 1/2p, 2p and a £1 coin the other night that i dug up as she, her mother and 2 brothers watched, not sure how shes gonna share that with her brothers lol but she loved it, she seemed disinterested in ring pulls strangely. I was telling her to guess what it was going to be, she got the 2p right lol, her brothers were a bit shy and i couldnt get them to have a go but they watched and were loving it so i was giving them a running commentary, Tina was telling the mother what is needed to get permissions etc and about the detectors, complete strangers and we were all chatting great for about 30mins, thats a good night at the park ::g

Anyway enough blah, the knight dude looks cool, i have a key somewhere that may fit that lock haha ;)
