Beach

Post by FileyLad »

Hi Guys,

Just to let you all know that i will no longer be posting any info of any finds in the beach section of this forum, as i have literally just been RIPPED to pieces by an old lady on the beach ;))

I have "Ruined the beach forever for her", and i can not live with the guilt ;-)

the only reason i have ever posted an image to the forum of my finds is for A)OTHERS TO ENJOY and B) GET AN ID, not to ruin "her" beach. I have never posted an exact location/photograph of the find spot....
;;z
So to that old lady, i apologise for you feeling this way BUT if it makes others happy to find things then so be it..... it is not our/your beach.

Rant over..... ;;z BE HAPPY PEOPLE.

The world is full of sad people with nothing better to do than moan about anything and everything. Let it go in one ear and out the other, take a deep breath, keep calm and carry on. Once you take it to heart, they've achieved their goal, to pass their own misery onto others. Never let them win ::g

I am gutted, :( we have a static caravan at Reighton and always look forward to you're posts about Filey it was nice to see what was being found.
I posted a thread called possible east coast ban when at Scarabrough and Brid I was challenged,
did she think you were responsible for the sand loss near the cobble landing, is she going to have a go at all the kids who dig 2 metre wide moats around their sand castle.

All the best and thanks for the past posts of finds. ::g ::g B-)

Crazy lady. Print this for her and tell her to stop and think of others. I imagine she is angry about everything. Your posts are great. I don,t always comment but I do read them. Thank you.

Hi, some of the public don't like detectorists the same way some farmers don't like them, it's a shame but that's how it goes, unless she is on about the amount that go to Filey as it's very popular now, detectorists coming at you from all angles =)) =)) =)) ::g

Hi Guys,

i think she means generally to be honest it wasn't as much about the amount as just people in general..... I think Filey has been VERY good to us all and we have some good finds and good memories of finding them and will continue to give just not in the amount it has up to now. Im still going to detect the beach, and still post my finds post probably when i have calmed down a bit.... he he. That beach is the reason i still detect today as i have no land.....

Good luck all! Beep Beep.

Look FL in this hobby there will always be people who want to have a go at us. If we all took notice of them forums like ours would not be very useful in my opinion. We, the members of this forum, thrive on hearing and seeing the finds of fellow members. Don't let this individual get you down matey. Look forward to your next post ::g
