Hi All
The heavens opened in Brum last night and I went passed the field today and it was soaking, there is dryish spots, but on the whole its wet.
I was due to go Monday & was wondering whats the best settings for wet ploughed/stubble, as I say its pooled in some bits but other bits are ok & its my only chance to get out there until Saturday.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers
Mick

You don't mention what version you're running but I'll reply as if you are on V2.
There are no 'best' settings anyone here can give you for your particular field. Every field requires different settings, and even different parts of fields may also require other settings. I can mention a few basic things to get you moving in a positive direction though.
First off, find the areas of ground that have less stubble, there's no point swinging a coil several inches off the ground losing depth. If you can visit the field later after its been rolled that's ideal. Don't bother when it's like the surface of mars right after ploughing. It's a chore to walk on and you won't find much that way.
Try Basic 1 or GM Power in either 8 or 12khz depending on the size of the items you are looking for. Put audio response on 4 so you hear the deeper targets louder, keep GB on tracking until you learn your machine. You will get the odd whine here and there but you will learn these sounds.
Read the manual about reactivity as that's one crucial part any deus owner needs to understand. The wrong setting + slow swing speed = missed good targets.
Good luck.

Thanks mate, apologies on late reply, I've only just realised someone had responded. Struggling to GB with just the earphones & I'm on V3.2 I think.
