Novice in Derby looking for weekday buddy

Hiya,

My name is Jackie and I am new to metal detecting. I have just bought myself a Garrett Ace 250 as an early Christmas present (I hope I did ok!). I am looking for someone in the Derby area to go out with, someone who can show me the ropes a bit?!? I am available every Tuesday.

Hi Jackie I live In the Belper area, But not available in the week as a rule. I use the Garrett AT Pro
and have a ace 250 as a back up. its a good little machine. Hope you get someone to help you. Any thing you are having problems with give us a post and we will help where we can. HH Rob

I am not too far away in Burntwood, just the other side of Lichfield to you. I can usually get out in the week, but with xmas approaching im flat out at the minute.

Jackie .welcome to the site and the wonderful hobby of metal detecting.sorry to see you don't have many replies as there are quite a few detectorists around here and everyone has to start off somewhere.im based in derby city centre.i don't know if I can show you much about your machine as I use a different starter machine which is a fisher.but I'm always willing to be nice to people and to show them my good habits.when the boss is in good mood I'm allowed out one weekday each week.
