Thanet somewhere ?

Post by hydraglide »

After a good hunt meeting some new friends yesterday, it inspired me to go out today, but...as it's blowing a hurricane and not very pleasant plus the tides are wrong, I decided against it.
However this Sunday low tides are around 8-9 in Thanet, plus the weather looks good(ish) any one up for this ? Don't have to be the main beach, possibly one of the bays, there's plenty to choose from and on most the diggings easy... ::g
Any takers ?

Hi.

I'm on nights but depending on me getting some sleep on the Saturday night, then I am up for it. Should have digging implements too.

Hi Chris.

Have received my digging tool. Finds pouch should be here soon too.
Popped out today with the dogs on Folkestone beach and bumped into Caretaker Rob again.

I didnt find anything as the dogs were just into eveything. Wont be going out with them again.

Regards
Neil

Well I went on Sunday, Margate main beach, found 10 coins all spends except one, a ship halfpenny.
Had a chat with 3 guys detecting, spent 3 hours down there, very pleasant morning. :)
