First time with T2se- what a laugh :>

Post by royaltanky1 »

I joined janner53 today with Dave and had a great time with the T2se.

My first proper trip to the beach so I stuck the 5inch coil on as I knew it was rocky.

Now I had no idea what GB to use so I stuck it on 15 and the first hole was a sixpence,! So I left it on that all day ::g

Total count was 1 half crown, 4 sixpences and a shilling. A silver ear ring, a normal ring, 2 brooches, one being Blackpool tower and 33 other coins ::g ::g

So I am mightily impressed with the T2 ::g

Setting were 85,40'+1 Ground balance manually at 15

I have the T2 but not used it yet as I always use the ETRAC I have
However I want to use it more, can you suggest the best optimum settings for both the beach and pasture.i know its daft but I am completely rubbish at programming and only did my ETRAC by luck and chance but it works, can you give me an idiots guide (yes I am that daft ) on how to put good settings in and how too ie GB etc
Cheers,

Alan

Both different mate
Pasture 75-80 sensitivity 4-10 discrimination +2 ground balance and turn pinpoint down to 15.
Beach 85 sensitivity 40 discrimination +1, ground balance manually 15 -25 turn pinpoint down to 20

That's what I used today on Beach. I use detech head on pasture and beach setting are for 5inch coil

Glad you had a successful first proper beach hunt Tanky ::g.
Some nice finds there. It was good to have some company yesterday, just a shame the sand has started to return as there's still loads of good finds there.
