Hello,
I've been on there a few times when been down on holiday. If the weather is nice it gets very busy but the further you go the quieter it gets. I was with the wife and kids so only done a bit to keep the kids entertained but still found a few quid. Be down myself end of May hip willing!
regards
Clint

dawlish its self, has lots of big pebbles, and in my opinion is usless to us,dawlish warren is ok, but watch out for killjoy numpty anti's, took a pic of one old crone after she threatened to spread screws and washers on the beach.
if you are down that way a day out to Teignmouth is worth a bash, apart from usual beach stuff, allsorts of semi precious can be found there (if you like that).

That is because,Mole catcher,my friend, the nutters don`t get let out `til after 10am and when they do manage to get out they need other members of the public to hide behind.I`ve only had one bit of bother,on Rhyl beach, from some bull terrier walking scally in a shell suit. When he realised he didn`t bother me and after politely pointing out, with a mad grin on my face, I was the one carrying the spade, and he was a (sounds like Bob) head,he left.
Sorry, off subject, but it gets my back up..Back to Dawlish...does anyone ever try up near the big red rock thing to the right,if you are looking out to sea, with the hole through it and the concrete jetty?

Just come back from a 4 hours stint at the Warren! Very frustrating with my Nox. I am a newbie so still struggling getting used to everything.
2 Pull Tabs, 1 mackerel spinner and 1 lump of rubbish. Lots of signals that seemed to disappear after digging a massive hole.![Laugh out loud [87/]](./images/smilies/87_EmoticonsHDcom.png)

It's not part of the Crown Estate. Beach from Red Rock down to Dawlish is CE. It's also an SSSI although that doesn't automatically mean no digging. Also a SAC, special area of conservation and a NNR, National Nature Reserve.
Might explain the old crone's rant. Although spreading washers etc is probably not on.
