Lincolnshire beaches...

...thinking of heading over to lincolnshire for the weekend as there don't seem to be any rallies on anywhere. Any advice on which beach to head for?
I'll be using my Ace 250 which seems fine as long as the sand is dry!
Looking at beaches from Boston to Mablethorpe really. Have read a few posts on here but not seen much about the beach around Boston. It looks like the crown foreshore permit allows for detecting right up the riverbank to Boston as well.
Any tip's/advice welcome.

Righto. no replies. weather looks lousy anyway! think tides are wrong too!

Hi, Skegness beach is always worth a go, as it is always dry, and there is usually shrapnel to be found, although it is modern stuff, but crown permit allows anywhere from skeg beach all the way up to mablethorpe, and the council allow anywhere from skeg beach all the way up to mablethorpe too.

So new stuff near the top, and maybe older in the water, but my 250 doesnt like the wet either, although i have still found some things in the wet sand.
