Great session TF ::g Have spent many happy days searching Weymouth and sometimes was able to get a few hours in on the way back from collecting Portland stone. Used to set myself a target of 100 coins but there weren't so many at it then. It's also the place where I discovered you could ground balance a VLF (Garrett Fortune Hunter) machine.

Really interesting how different the beach can seem at night, great fun, sometimes eerie and disorientating, and during the summer over here, also populated with the lesser spotted sand smoocher l;.

Looks like a great night though, I should organise a beach dig over here for everyone, we got sand!!!!!!

By the way, what depth were the full beers at? I only get the empties =))

HAMMY Code convert, easily pleased, lives on an Island, goes to the beach a lot

well that looked like fun! ::g
How often do groups meet up for night hunts on beaches.?
Cheap Chinese no name detector.(to be changed at the soonest possible chance)
Roughneck short spade.
No where near enough time to visit permissions.
No pin pointer either(yet).
But loads of enthusiasm and enjoys getting out in the fresh air.

Looks like everyone had fun plus finds!
I was thinking of doing a night session during the summer season but too much of a wimp to go out alone. There is a video on youtube of an all night beach session here:

Best of luck and I hope to join you at the next one.

Thanks for posting ... and if you get a Pro pointer your finds rate will definitely go up.
Thanks again.
