Morecambe bay

Hi all,
Off to morecambe with the kids for half term on Sunday has anyone detected this beach as I haven't done any beach detecting so I'm after some tips.

Im sure Morecambe Bay is owned by the Duchy of Lancs (or somename lol), check the beaches permit to see if its included, im sure it isnt.

Never detected myself. There was a video on YouTube a year or so ago. Guy was having quite a lot of success. He was not very far out and using a small coil and most finds were only a few inches deep. Like most beaches it will probably need the conditions
