Some nice bits there Slippery, shame about the coin but its still a cool find. Is that all since the storm last week? It churned things up quite nicely here so had some success myself, cleared it all out now though! ::g ::g :D

Seal and spoon were from a low spot that appeared last few days (there was a big iron 3 legged cooking pot out there too!)...rest was from further in where it's been down to clay for weeks, been over and over it but the gold still pops out occasionally. ;) ::g

I'd have been tempted to drag that cooking pot in, god knows what i'd have done with it though. I'm going over areas that i'm sure have been done to death but its still popping out. Bring on the winter storms i say!

It did cross my mind but it was only C19th cast iron and it had a chunk out of the rim. :D

Great finds there Slippery ::g Really like the group shot with the dark background, great photo technique ::g

Your 13th Century vessica seal matrix is a great find and rare to find one on a beach ::g Any chance of an overhead shot just using shadow to show inscription? It looks to start S' VALTRI and I wonder if this is a corruption of S' WALTERI, or even a continental spelling for "Seal of Walter"?
