Hi,

Need some advice on XP Deus settings to get deeper hits on soil like this. Any advice?

Its tough one as such soil has lots of non-conductive air pockets. All detectors dislike air but single frequency machines generally deal with it better as they have less to "think about"
Using lower frequency is seen as a solution for depth....but you will lose sensitivity. Its that or rain!!

The devil in me says get a Minelab. =)) =))

Ha ha! The ATX I have may be better for the job. I'm definitely waiting for rain before I get on there again.

Not a specific answer but Gary's masterclass on deep targets gives some good pointers on depth settings you might find useful
