Here's the best of what we found:

1. A PQA Creative Stages Award (that stands for Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts no less!)
2. We believe this is the base of a cartridge that fires a 2" smoke bomb - it has Eley Kynoch ICI 28 written on it.
Some quick googling took us here http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/ordnance- ... hell-3346/ and that it dates between 1930 - 1962.
3. Maybe the head of an old coach bolt.
4. A watch - probably not a Rolex...
5. 2p
6. Our first £1 coin
7. A bouncy Superball - still with its bounce intact

So, all in all, a much more varied and interesting trip than last weekend.
But I cannot sign off without saying that our best find of the day was...<drum roll>.....
MY CAR

Having parked up somewhere along the front where the parking was free I did not pay close attention to exactly where we'd parked.
We were walking back to the car and somehow completely passed it by and ended up walking half the way to Goring. I was utterly convinced it had been somehow stolen but we retraced our steps and eventually found it...exactly where I'd left it. Relief all round and a mental note to ALWAYS pay attention to where I park it in future!
