i found 3 of these coins or similar in my sisters horse paddock in febuary.they came out of the ground looking just like a blank disc.it was only last week i decided to try and clean the crud off, and what do you know with your id,i will be going back to the paddock this week! with your superior knowledge on the subject ,were these milled or hammered.i cant get a definative answer from my research,it seems 1656 was an important year ,with certain french milling processes being employed by cromwell. anyway once again thanks very much, cheers I think you being a bit kind
