i popped down there on Saturday morning for a quick hour, there was about 6-7 people detecting !!!! :-O Most of em searching in the wrong place. I did suggest that they moved in a bit rather than stay out on the rocks that are always uncovered, but they ignored me.

Most of the cut has now gone, typical now it's just about light when I get home, and the low tide is a bit late.

All I found Saturday was a little Silver owl, and about 10 pre decimal coins.

Planing a trip to west beach this weekend. Will be using my
euro ace, so no detecting on the wet stuff. Any tips or best areas
to try out?

Great pics :) looks like your beach will produce good finds in it`s present state - the half-crown and plaque are in superb condition ::g You`ll need to keep at it as soon as you can as every tide can make a difference (for an advantage or disadvantage).It`s a bit of a *** when that four letter word work get`s in the way though :)) :)) :))
