Hi Richie,
I have been reading up on the Garrett Ace 250, the Euro Ace, Viking VK40, Whites Coinmaster Pro, Fisher F2, and the Discovery 3300. At present I am leaning towards the Ace 250, or even the Euro Ace. Still playing around with ideas whilst I am saving up the cash.
As an aside; I have noticed that Macine Mart are selling detectors called Clarkes. Have you heard anything about Clarkes detectors?

I got the Ace 250 that was on the forum auction last week. I am very pleased with it. Radek had looked after it well.

I did think of bidding on that detector but didn't want to be the one to push the price up. I am not over keen on auctions and wish that peeps would just post an asking price. But then, thats me! What did you finally pay for your machine?
