I am no expert. But the brass ring looks like some kind of Arabic-Calligraphy. Seen a seal found in Turkey that looks identical squiggles and dots. If it is then a full picture and a new topic asking for a translation might work. If that does not work I know someone on another forum that may be able to help.

Hi all, thanks for all the replies and info. Its given me some things to work on.

I was back there again today and found another two rings, both look silver but well tarnished and battered. Plus another 96 coins. The sand is still off so I'm making the most of it.
The coins again are a mixture of decimal and pre-decimal.
