Yes. Garys hot program make my Deus much more stable now.
It works pretty good compare to the standard programs.

Thank you. :))

Hi, I've been using the Deus for a few weeks now with a 13" coil. It's good on the beach but in parks where there is lots of junk, I also find it hard to get a clear diggable signal. I put this down to the machine being very deep seeking with the bigger coil. Even in the Deus Fast program, I get so many signals it's hard to know what to dig and I don't want to turn the grass into a bunker strewn place.

I've tried rising the discrimination and even developed a £1/£2 coin program which filters out most of the lower ID signals (under 80) and notched out low 90s. That was one way I've tried to cope with the incessant beeping. This was just to filter as a test and I know it means I'm missing a load of potentially good signals.

The other approach I've considered is to get the standard 9” coil.

I think this is not a problem with the machine but a problem with the larger coil size which I've opted for (from Regtons). It'll be good on the pasture and ploughed, though. On the beach it's been good and found lots of coin sized metal but not many coins. Again, I think this is just the locations I've been using it in rather than the machine.

The first signal I ever dug with the Deus (in the park) was a coin! That bodes well, I thought. It really gave me a lift with what is to me a new machine.

My first post! Good to be here.
