Great mornings work there scratcher the lower down the beach you go the better the finds are most of my gold finds have come from mid to low tide lines

Aye H, lots of people seem to like the tide line at low water but my success rate is far better mid tide where you can see the water has drained but it's still damp. ::g :D

Blinking heck Scratch that is a good days work most of us would be on cloud nine getting one ring.

Cheers mate, I wasted a couple of hours following the tide line down, I'm starting to convince mesel that the ctx doesn't like a layer of surface water in the tadpole 2 prog. And believe me I was very grateful as I'd travelled a good hour and a half to get there and had 2p for the first 2 hours but never gave up the PMA (positive mental attitude)it works you know! :))
