Just wondered,if its a lost purse.......is it still classed as a hoard???
Is a hoard more than one item.....Buried.
What if it was an old market place,or farmer selling from one area over the years, then its
multi-losses in the same area...........is this still classed as a hoard???

Nice one Patrick was this the Ticknal dig, if so I was also on this dig with my grandson. Unfortunately I had to leave early due to pain only got 2 hrs in though still managed to see a broze axe/chisel and a very good conditioned Roman trumpet brooch.

I may be slow but can still get to my knees for the glint of gold
