The headphones do tend to work their way into the back of the ear after a while, I may try sliding some squashy fabric over the stems, I have three full days coming up with the Deus, hoping for no rain

But after 3 hours they give a lot of pain.. Only soultion so far is a rebuild to Cup.. Well I can se it is possible to take earphones apart and maybe slide something over, but what ??.. It still have to look acceptable, and not like a sack over the head..

Okay I was thinking same.. Photos.. But I think I have located some of the problem.. I just tryed them againe. I tryed to pull them further back, to se how.. Normally I dont just wear T-shirt i fall, and I never take them so far back, as they are in contact with my jacket ect.. But I must admit they sit littel bit more comforable this way. So I will try this out to se if it is more of a problem that I dress to much = No room for the bar.. For those who didnt get that.. Okay The bar between left and rigth earphone I used to wear in a horizontal line.. NOW ! I see they can get back like 44 degree angel. ON MY NECK NOT UNDER MY NOSE..
Come on share with me.. dont be shy...

yes yes yes the bar fits neatly back of head under the ridge and comes up over ears yes yes yes we are on the same page WHOOOOPEE TWENTY PAGES LATER we have an answer for you

So maybe my problem was to small compared to yours..Or you guys and girls are just slow readers
Anyway Im sure im not the only one who experience this.. So I will let you peopel try to solve some real problems.. Anyway what is the maximum on your posting.. I mean this goes on for 25 pages.. Should the problem not be turned over by now.. ? problem with post like this great one Deus info for Dummies is that a small thing like my comment just dissapear in other stuff.. And if not Liamnolan had brougth it up I had not given it much more thourgths.. So Sugar.. Do you XP DEUS Work or not.. Do it go back to Regton.. Or was the hick up in the other end.. ??..
Let Us know how it work out with the problem..

I dont think i can comment on my thoughts at the moment until i have spent more time with it i am sure you understand i do however have a few answers as i have a coin garden and that is helping me to understand it a little better i still have a lack of id numbers and therefore have devised a way to alter the thresholds so i can hunt by ear, once i have gained the confidence that i am not missing stuff and the fact is it just isnt there i will be on my way.
so heres to more experience i love the weight OR lack of the coil free headphones and the way you can choose your own thresholds to dig in the tones that you enjoy these are huge bonuses for me

and i thought i was the only person on the planet who didnt know left from right ok glad to have that one sorted earphone controls on LEFT EAR and the bar almost at the back of the neck VERY COMFY no need to rebuild just wear and ENJOY PHEWWWWWWW
Hello Sugar,
I though we have sorted the headphone problem in this topic
http://metaldetectingforum.co.uk/viewto ... 48&t=18046" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The correct way to wear the headphones, is with the control unit on the left ear, the band at the back of the head, and part of the frame hooked over each ear.
I like to think that I'm not an idiot. But I have to admit that I bought a Deus V1 many months ago but when I got it home I thought that the magnet attaching the Control Unit was a bit iffy, and the headphones were a bit loose and did not want to stay on my head. So I took the Deus back and changed it for an E-Trac.
A few months later at a club dig I saw a Deus owner wearing his headphones the correct way, I felt a right plonker.
On the link, Kmarsh said he spotted someone with the band over his nose, this is not so good because it interfers with your vision. If people really want the control unit on their right ear it would be best to hold the frame in your mouth like a horse's bit ha ha.
Regarding your air test result with the 5p. Different people have a different a perception of a 'dig me whisper', that accounts for the variation in the first depth on our tests, the second depths were reasonably close.
Keep up the good work.
