Last Sunday a womens lost i-phone.on the beach ...she woz chuffed and i woz surprised i found it as it gave off an iron signal when going from the sea wall to low level concrete it woz a bur- bur of iron signal and the i phone gave off an addition bur inbetween, it woz just under the sand and a 12:44 once out and 6" away from search head

Best thing I found was a small silver ring, worth about 23p in scrap value lol. That was the same day a someone found a Magun .44, the most powerful handgun in the world. Did the finder feel lucky? Not really, he had to sit in the car park till the police arrived to take charge of it.
Some of the chambers looked like they had cartridges in but not sure if they were spent or live rounds.

Here's my 9ct ring. Nothing better than this so far (well except around £50 in modern coins that may worth more than the ring :-) )

I also found this 13th century pommel, described on PAS as cleaned by finder but this is how it was found grrr.
