New update will be going thursday now coming back friday evening. Looking at tide times I think detecting may not take place as I was going to do this whilst wifey was in confferance but unfortunately low tide coincides with her end of day.
May still take a small fishing rod see if I can fish off the pier though.

Good luck with the fishing Paul, don't fall off the pier or catch Jaws. Pity about the tides, can you not get out very early in the morning to catch a low tide. No experience of beach detecting but I hear many prefer to go out early and late to avoid the crowds and detect in peace.

How did you get on with the beach then not herd any report back weather not that good down there stating to grow webbed feet er in Devon ::g :D :))
