I watched the video with interest but at the time I had just bought a full Deus and wanted to get to know it before changing anything (+could not afford to buy anything more having just bought the machine!)
After trying out a few options I thought I would share my thoughts with everyone.
I have not bought the WS4 adapter as I have the remote, so I cannot comment on this option.
The remote has no volume control, I tried a pair of in ear buds with no volume control but this was way too loud and you could damage your hearing. So I looked at some in line volume controls to work with my existing ear buds, however all of these were poorly constructed and had a very negative effect on the quality of the audio, I would avoid these.
In the end I bought a pair of Sennheiser CX 400 mk2, these have their own in line volume (most "volume controls" on headphones now are just remotes for the source product, phone etc. So no use for our purpose, you need a set with a manual volume control if using with the remote) and are in my opinion a good mix of sound isolation, sound quality and cost, however I would recommend buying the best you can afford, bearing in mind that the light weight cords are more prone to damage on in ear headphones.
I use the Deus in "full tones" and to my mind the most important part of this upgrade is the quality of the audio, I work in the Hifi industry and have used hundreds of headphones over the years and to my ears the difference in the amount of audio information from a quality pair of headphones V's the WS4's is night and day!
So much easier to identify the faint deep signals, no more digging coke, just much easier to identify the target prior to digging. There is just a much wider range of tones that are reproduced much more accurately and for this reason, I would not just grab any old headphones to use as you will not get the full benefit, buy a good pair and have a go I am sure you will not be disappointed!
I also feel this is something that XP should consider as I love the freedom of the wireless WS4's but for the price they should offer better sound quality than they do.
Quick vid on getting to deeper targets easily
I've tried most but always end up using my XP backphones, plugged into the controller.

I watched the video on lap top and then on phone. Both with volume turned full up. Shame I could only watch but not hear it. Keep seeing in the posts something about volume!! All them posters must be able to lip read.

Hi there - I think you must have an issue as this has had nearly 3,000 views without one mention of a problem with the video volume in the video commentsA.B. wrote:I watched the video on lap top and then on phone. Nor has anyone mentioned anything about the video volume in this thread so I'm really a bit puzzled as to your comment?!

Just watched and its a great video and very nicely delivered... that said the volume started very quietly .. but improved as the video progressed.JamieB wrote:Hi there - I think you must have an issue as this has had nearly 3,000 views without one mention of a problem with the video volume in the video commentsA.B. wrote:I watched the video on lap top and then on phone.
