Are we too polite about the garrett 150 & 250

Having read many reports on different starter detectors and browsed this and other threads, I decided to take the plunge and order a brand new Euro Ace from Regton this morning. I will keep carefull notes on my progress with the Euro Ace; keeping in mind all that I have read here and in other threads.

I am hoping that this is the start of a new adventure.

I've recently got the 250 and made 23inch deep test bed in the garden.. the thing I have noticed is to dig only sharp clear pinpoint signals.. But for the price I the build and tech is spot on the money.
I'm relatively new to this hobby but I know by reading and watching YouTube videos that folks that have been detecting with e-tracs and other great metal detectors still get good signals over junk.

Yes I know you have a better chance to pull more great things at deeper depths if you know what's what with a high end detectors and I would love a e-trac or deus v2, but for the money at this point in time the 250 is a winner in my eyes... Godamn I'm just loving the hobby and I haven't even started to scratch the surface

my friend has a Deus, a smart machine that costs in the region of £1200, but he still gets fooled by copper shrapnel from .303 projectils.

I was out with a friend who's got a 250. He matched me find for find. I would defo buy one as a starter or a back-up machine

A GOOD THING WITH THE ACE 250 IS FOIL ALWAYS GIVES A BUZ AT THE END OF THE BELL TONE THE EURO DOSE NOT BUT I HAVE GOT USE TO MY EURO NOW AND KNOW WHAT FOIL IS MOST OF THE TIME TOP MACHINE FOR THE MONEY GOOD DEPTH AND RECVERY SPEED AND A DREEM FOR LONG SESIONS NOT LIKE MY MINLAB SAFARI THAT GETS A BIT HEAVEY WELL HAPPY HUNTING
