Fiatral beach Newquay conclusion

Post by digbat »

Hi all,

I have spent 8 hours on fistral beach with my minelab explorer II \ sef coil.
I found 28 bottle tops, a lighter, a pair of sunglass,s(made in china) 5 ring pulls, £2.10 and some unidentified shards of metal.
Digging wet sand was hard work with no scoop so tended to stick to the towel line.
All holes filled in and all junk binned if nothing else I feel I have helped tidy up. Maybe karma will repay me when I get back to a field, the grass is always greener.

Happy hunting ::g

That is true, good practice also I dig one signal a meter deep I was actually stood in the hole at one point. It turned out to be a aluminium barbecue. I do have a day left but seriously don't think I can handle any more bottle tops.

But who knows tomorrow a new day ::g

Nice, it must be such a buzz seeing, gold shining I reckon you would instantly forget all the junk you found. I see your point you don't find gold rings complaining about bottle tops. ::g
Thank you,
