V5 problems

Hi!, I've updated my unit to the V5 and all I can say is....fail! There're problems with the pinpointer MI6, problems re-pairing the coil after the switch o-off of the pinpointer..Rolling back to the V4.1 There're more people with these problems being reported...

had same problem myself and others are experiencing the same. it was the same when v4 was released. we had to wait a couple of months for v4.1 and all was ok. i wasn't that fussed about v5 as such as i have remote and standard coil so no real benefits to myself as far as i can see.
so i think we'll have to wait for v5.1 before the "bugs" are fixed. not ideal but that's the way things seem to happen. hopefully we won't have to wait long.
Just out of curiosity, are you using one of the new x35 coils?

I found it did it the first time I switched on the mi6 and then was fine.

Last time (with v4) deleting and pairing the pinpointer again worked so I’ll try that when I next go out. Unless it rains shortly though that might be quite some time away

just updated to v5 from v4.1 due to the xp pointer issues hope it works ok as i have a hell of drive to my land sunday rl;

Assuming you have v5.1 as v5.0 is a problem with the pinpointer.
