Newbie looking Glasgow/ Close By

Hi, I’ve been interested in history / 2nd world War etc for decades

Bought a metal detector last year but still not managed to get out as not sure what to do.

Looking to buddy up near Glasgow.

Any help would be grateful.

If you're not having any success in finding someone local to go out with, maybe you could do a search for rallies or open digs in the vicinity :)
