Buddy/mentor needed Swansea/Gower

Hi all, I am new to detecting....After borrowing a kids detector off a friend early this year I caught the bug and have since purchased a nokta makro simplex. Which is simple and easy to use, as I am not great at reading instructions!

I haven't found much but enjoying the sense of freedom and helping clean the beaches . So far I am always dragging the whole family every time I hunt, including the dog and its starting to bore the socks off them. I am still learning and I have tried to join local detector club but it is full and I am on the reserve list!

So if anyone wouldn't mind me tagging along, I would appreciate the company and mentoring. I am based in Gower, Swansea.
