Sand Scoop Handles ?

Hi all,
I have just ordered a stainless sand scoop. My question is, where do you get the long handles for them. What type is best other than a broom handle?

On another note went on my first organised field dig on Sunday with my new vanquish 540. Got sunburn, loads of iorn, but no good finds. But i enjoyed every moment of it. However i think i enjoy the beaches even more.
