Ballbearings

Post by Dave The Slave »

Spent a couple of hours on Bournemouth beach this morning.Lots of bottle tops etc, just 7p spends. Cluster of 23 ballbearings 8mm diameter within 2 foot square area, depth about 2". Why ? No sign of anything else nearby, lots of sand movement in past week, could not have washed up or was it just some joker.

Hi Guys, thanks for the replies.;sweepstick 47 liked the joke .Belso good theory dispersal pattern makes sense, worrying only 200m from the pier. Lord Lovell, from a historical point of view would have been nice. Rattzzz hadn`t thought about this if they had been closer together would have gone for this one. At the moment thinking target practice.
