Hi guys, I am planning to go detecting at littlehampton beach in the next few weeks. I have got my permit etc.... Can anyone give me any advice as to best place to park and detect? I find the foreshore maps slightly unclear?

Cheers guys

I haven't been to Littlehampton in recent years but remember it as nice beach to detect - plenty of sandy areas with a light mix of shingle. If you get the chance and really low tides you should try Climping as there was a medieval village washed away by the sea. The late (and great) Tony Hammond lived locally and made some great medieval finds there as well as Roman.
