Ton up for my Bounty Hunter

Post by Dave The Slave »

Went down the beach this morning requiring £1.41 to make £100 of finds with this machine. Took an hour and half to get £1.50. Finished the area between two groynes then went between the next two, instantly more finds. Finally did 2.5 hours total 35 coins= my record, value £11.16, 5p short of my record. Amount was helped by 3 coin spills; 1= 2x£1,2x20p, 2=3x£1, 2x20p,1x10p, final spill largest amount , lowest value; 1x10p,1x5p,8x2p and 5x1p. Today was also my best for £1 coins=8, 20px10 :D
Been out 4 more times since last posting;11.7.14= £4.54,11 coins
22.7.14=£3.60, 5 coins
26.7.14=£7.00, 9 coins
27.7.14=£4.40, 5 coins.
Total coins since I got back into this last july=316, value £104.27.
Beach detecting challenge since may 1st £52.58.
All coins decimal on dry sand.
Good Luck everyone and thank you all for all your posts, have learned so much ::g

Well done Dave, i started out with a Bounty Hunter and they are an underrated machine, even though i have moved on to other machines the BH still gets regular use.As long as you don't knock the coil they are fairly stable on the wet sand aswell. Good luck and look forward to hearing about your first gold ring!

I like the term nugget, will suggest that for the glossary of metal detecting terms.
Cheers,
Dave.
