Anyone want to get together near Burton on Trent?

Post by Pantaxoa »

Hi everyone.

I live in Burton on Trent and I'm relatively new to detecting but have been on a few organised digs with Central searchers. No permissions as yet but perhaps a couple in the pipeline. I'm looking for someone to go out with and detect with and also look for permission locally. I'm interested in history generally and of the local area in particular. I would be happy to travel anywhere in an approx 30 mile radius (give or take a mile or two) to detect. I have a considered approach to doing things, am polite, not too loud and get on with most people. I have transport and an XP GoldMaxx. If anyone would be interested in joining forces please let me know.

Cheers,

Tim.

There is a club in Derby and they used to provide a list of farns etc that you could pay and detect at your leisure.
Might be worth checking.
