update to cracked sheathing on coil wire.
well looks like its going to be a new coil for the ex2 if i cant fix it.removed the coil, and stem from the control unit, and on further checking all of the outer rubber cable has perished revealing a small crack to the inner coil wire.you can see the copper wire.as for the plastic nut that is part of the lower cable protector that does undo without any damage to the cable, and slides up out of the way, leaving a plastic captive thread to hold the wire into the coil.so now i am left with trying to repair with duel adhesive shrink tubing, but the problem will be that the coil wire is itself coiled for part of its length to allow streatching to travel up the coil stem.so in reality ive had a good run with this coil its lasted at least 8 years so i cant mone about it.rip coil.
xp deus full,9in hf white coil,9in stock coil.
