Mi4 falsing

Post by kevorgill »

Good day. Id thought I'd splash out and buy a good pin pointer, thats what I thought anyway. Brought a xp mi4 just over a month ago, used about 6 time and it's started falsing, tried lowering sensitivity from 3 to 1 when trying to find target. And it decided to turn it's self on in the middle of the night. Not happy with it at all. Taking it back tomorrow. Hopefully get a refund. Don't want a swap for another one, you'd think with spending nearly 130 pounds it would last longer than a month, can anyone let me know if they had the same problem Tia

Had mine for a while now been great better than that garrett ones I have including the orange carrot but last 2 weeks when I turn it on its as though it's not kicking in properly as comes on quieter without vibrating then once I get real close to the target vibrate and louder sound kicks back in , been my favourite one to date and used fair few times per week , my garrett ones well the original is still as good as when I got it the orange one has had problems

same issue with my mi4. Took it to XP and they said it was just the soil where I'm detecting... funny thing that because I detect all over. Decided to get an mi6 instead and so far it doesn't false but the sensitivity is very poor, even when set to 50, you almost have to touch the metal to it. I'll be going back to a garrett carrot if I can
