CScope CS4pi
Hi guys,just a quickie still can't make my mind up on which detector to buy,if i bought a cs4pi can i still use it on fields,it says it is a good beach detector,thanks again for your help.

This metal detector is fantastic on the beach but unfortunately it has no discrimination so its not going to be that great on the fields.
Mainly for the beaches.

cheers thanks for your help,sorry about this so i need 2 detectors then?i think most of my detecting will be on beaches,is there anyone on the wirral who would'nt mind me watching how they go about there detecting before i buy one,again thank you for your help.

With respect phil I thing you need an etrac or explorer range.

Etrac and Explorer are fine machines, there is no doubt about that. However you could get a CS4PI for beach work (and get ready to dig iron:) and a CS3MX or CS5MX for inland. Actually, there are many more good inland detectors in that price range. It is the wet satly beach, where the problems start.

Dont forget the Sovereign GT too. Easy to use, an excellent all rounder and a very good beach machine too. The depth would be on par with the explorer etrac range aswell. You could buy new or 2nd hand sovereign detectors in slightly different models, depending on what your budget is. They range from anywhere between £150 to £635 in price.
