Buddy in the Cleethorpes / Mablethorpe area

I'm Andy, and although I'm not from either of the places in the title (I'm from Bolsover in Derbyshire) I do like a trip to the coast to do some beach detecting. So if anyone from over that way (or anyone based anywhere on the way who I could offer a lift) would like to team up, then drop me a line. I drive a small van, so plenty of room to carry kit. I'm trying to get over to the coast once every couple of weeks or so at the moment.

I've not been detecting long, but am on a fast learning curve. I'm using a Simplex+ and finding it really good on the sand, both wet and dry. I'm definitely still learning though, so anyone who could give me a few pointers or fellow beginner who is in the same boat as me would be very welcome.
