Well mine are still going strong too - you won't find many farmers in NZ who don't wear the same Red Bands they've had for 10 years or more.... mind you they don't dig as many holes as you do, Fred, nor possibly as vigorously :) Not clear from the photo - have they cracked on the instep or the sole?

Nice comfortable boots but they cracked across the instep and heel. Not designed for heavy digging.

I love to try some gardening ones with reinforced insteps but they are all shorties and not suitable for wading. :D

I love my pair,l put acouple of thermal insoles in each of mine that took up the large for size problem nicely.
