I am also from the Basildon area but unfourtunatly new to detecting.
I do not have any permisions or anything at the moment so for me its a case of getting used to the detector where I am aloud at the moment

I also am in Basildon started Detecting January this year Have two permissions but one is off limits till august as crops on fields but I also do beaches as well give me a personal message if you want to get together for some detecting

Hi Andy or anyone in the Basildon area...

This is John Yates - I am on holiday here in Basildon for two weeks and I have brought my Fisher 75 metal detector along and I would love to come out with you and have a look around. I don't have any permissions etc as I am not from here... Mine are in Lincolnshire!
