Nel tornado coil
Nel tornado coil
Hi if i put a nel tornado coil or Nel fly coil on 400i. does it have to be tuned in or just fit and use it. also when i have finished a field with the 400i i was thinking about puting the nel tornado coil on and trying the same field if that makes any sence
Thanks for any advice

On a similar note, I was wondering if placement of a new coil changes how the digital number readout behaves? I’ve got used to how they react in relation to coins and junk, does a different coil change things?

Just do a factory reset once the coil is fitted.Bypass2 wrote: Mon Nov 16, 2020 8:54 pm Hi if i put a nel tornado coil or nel fly coil on 400i. does it have to be tuned in or just fit and use it. also when i have finished a field with the 400i i was thinking about puting the nel tornado coil on and trying the same field if that makes any sence Thanks for any advice

People don't change when they see the light.....
......they only change when they feel the heat.
Nox 800,that is all.

Had to replace the coil on my 400i last month, as it had become virtually unusable in the 4 years since new. Stony ground had taken its toll.
Was going to buy another stock coil, but the Nel Tornado was actually cheaper.
Fitted straight on, no need to do anything regarding tuning and works perfectly.
Numbers are exactly the same.
Can`t help with depth due to stony ground being shallow but you will cover a greater area.
Deals with the stubble better due to the shape.
Good Luck,
Dave.

Nothing wrong with the factory coil._Lewis_ wrote: Sun Dec 20, 2020 9:27 pm What’s wrong with the coil that comes with it do I need to change it?
Found B/A, Roman Silver, Hammereds and all metals apart from Gold.
Only reason replaced due to 4 years of stony ground had taken too many chunks out of it.
Good Luck.

Nothing wrong with the coil that comes with it. the only reason the nel tornado goes deeper. so when I finnished the field I am on I will try the nel tornado coil then see what else I find ? never know so I thought I will give it a try.
