Best beaches around the Torquay area

Hi all,

Are there any detectorists around the Torquay or Exmouth area who can recommend some decent nearby beaches to detect on? I've heard Brixham can be fairly good, but other than that, I don't know where to look.

Any input appreciated.

Not going to be much help I am afraid. I have detected a few beaches Teignmouth, Ness Beach, Maidencombe, Shaldon, Goodrington and Exmouth.
The best in my opinion is Exmouth.
