looking for a hat camera

Post by pasttarg »

i am desperate to record my dig time and looking for a cap with a camera but they all seem to have bad feedback..the go pro on a cap looks too cumbersome ..anyone using a hat cam ?? [49/] or seen anything usefull ? there are spy hats but they look gimmicks with spy hole cameras that dont have an app to go with it ,and dont record to a phone [18/]

GoPro Hero session is a really small camera that might work for you. Just depends on your budget

Does it have to be on your hat? Gopro on the detector shaft can work. Depends upon what you wish to record of course.

Might be difficult if you really need something to record a whole day's detecting that is linked to your phone, but a compromise might be the Veho Muvi series of cameras - good enough resolution for online videos and can be attached anywhere you want, including a cap. Only 80 mins battery life but that's enough to record a few holes dug. SD card recording - so no phone connection but as said, a possible compromise?

I would go for the spy glasses when they start shipping them from China again.

30 or 60 frames per second.

Some can take video and stills and play MP3.
