GP pointer tip

Post by Dave Barker »

There is a guy on You tube that shows you if you shine a torch through the end of a GP pointer, on some of them, the sensor is a long way from the tip, he takes out the switch grommet and pokes a wire through to push it down, mine was 3/4 inch away from the tip, I just tapped mine hard and the sensor went right home, worth a look if you have one !

Mine was the same.

I poked it from the end with a long narrow screwdriver. 100% improvement.

That's really useful. Mine was getting on for an inch from the tip, sharp tap on the floor with it, now seems to be right at the end and it's increased the range massively.
